Sustainable Development Goals in Kenya

As a country that has attempted to align the SDGs to its National Development Plan (NDP), it is necessary to highlight that Kenya has played a vital role in the context of a number of global and continental processes that unfolded in the course of 2015 and led to the development of the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063.

As of 2012, Kenya had its NDP and Vision 2030, aimed at addressing the country’s triple challenges of poverty, unemployment and inequality.
